Artist biography
Shahin Afrassiabi lives and works in London. A graduate of Goldsmiths College, he was nominated for the Beck’s Futures in 2001 and was a participant in the Whitechapel Gallery’s ‘Early One Morning’ group show in 2002. Afrassiabi is best known for his work in 3-D spatial compositions, often incorporating everyday objects such as building materials into his work. Recent shows include Vilma Gold, Jeffrey Charles, Cell, the South London Gallery, Project Arts Centre, Dublin, and The Moore Space and Locust Projects, Miami.
