Artist statement

D J Roberts’ works investigate a fascination with enigmatic urban places collaged from film and memory.

D J Roberts is a graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London. Forthcoming exhibitions include a solo show at Lounge in autumn 2007. Past exhibitions include Mostyn 15 (Oriel Mostyn Gallery, 2005)Contemporary British Painting, selected by Gary Hume (Hastings Museum and Gallery, 2004) and Jerwood Drawing Prize (Jerwood Space & on tour, 2003).
