Artist statement
Lalie Schewadron is an installation artist, combining opthalmic digital prints, acrylic paintings, drawings and projections to create extraordinary 'hybridized' landscapes.
Lalie Schewadron completed her MA in Fine Art at Central St Martins. She was an exhibiting finalist in the Celeste Painting Prize 2006. Recent shows include 'New Art', MPG Contemporary, Boston (2007) and the Helen Keller International Award, Collins Gallery, Glasgow (2007). Upcoming exhibitions include 'Synthesis' (solo exhibition at the Copley Society of Art, Boston, August 2007) and a solo exhibition at the Metropolitan Gallery, Boston. Born in Tel-Aviv, she lives and works in Boston and Lausanne.
